Castle Granary

The granary is listed as a national heritage site. It was built prior to 1752 opposite the castle garden by the grand prior Václav Joachym Čejka of Olbramovice. The author of the project seems to have been an obscure builder from Prague named Anselmo Martino Lurago.
The granary that used to be part of the former large manorial farmstead is a rectangular building with decorated gables on the eastern and western sides. The former main portal on the southern side is partially buried and decorated with a coat of arms with crown and rococo ornament. Consumer Cooperative Jednota acquired it in 1951. Today it is used as a warehouse for fruits and vegetables.
