Pursuant to Act No. 227/2000 Coll., on Electronic Signature and on Amendment to Certain Other Acts, and in compliance with the Government Decree No. 304/2001 Coll., implementing the Electronic Signature Act, the town of Strakonice establishes the electronic filing room.
The office handles electronic submissions received via the electronic filing room and having all prescribed elements in the same manner and within the same periods as other submissions.
Submissions incoming via electronic mail to the filing room, which are not signed by a guaranteed electronic signature based on a qualified certificate issued by an accredited provider of certification services, are regarded as ordinary correspondence.

Electronic submissions will be received only in the following formats:
- www document with .html, .htm suffix;
- Microsoft Office (.doc, .docx, .rtf, .xls, .xlsx);
- plain text - CP 852, 1250 (.txt)
- Acrobat Reader (.pdf),
- OpenOffice (.o??),
- Picture attachments (.jpg, .gif, .tif, .bmp)
The filing room does not by any means accept executable files (*.com, *.exe, *.vbs, *.pif etc.)!
Data messages can also be delivered on technical media – diskettes, CDs.
If an electronic submission is signed by an electronic signature, the signature must be based on a qualified certificate issued by an accredited provider of certification services.
If a data message contains a harmful code, it is not regarded as delivered to the e-filing room.
The electronic filing room checks whether the received submission in electronic form is legible and whether it was signed by a person specified on the qualified certificate and whether the certificate is valid. If it is established that the submission shows defects, the relevant provisions of the Rules of Administrative Procedure shall apply.
The certification authority which issued the authentication certificate is PostSignum.
